Playing back the USB HDD
Only motion picture/still picture that have been copied by connecting this unit to the USB
HDD or copied with HD Writer LE 2.1 can be played back.
A USB Connection Cable (commercially-available)
B USB HDD (commercially-available)
C Turn the side with the symbol up to connect the micro A end of the USB Connection Cable to
the USB terminal of this unit.
1 Connect this unit to the USB HDD to prepare for playback. (l 109)
When playing back on a TV, connect this unit to the TV. (l 103)
2 Touch [Playback HDD].
3 Touch the scene or still picture to be played back and then play it back.
The playback operation is performed the same as when playing back motion pictures or still
pictures. (l 26, 78)
To terminate the connection between this unit and the USB HDD
Touch on the Touch Menu.
Disconnect the USB Connection Cable from this unit.
It is also possible to switch the media to play back by touching the play mode select icon.
When the USB HDD is connected, the (USB HDD) can be selected from the displayed media
types. (l 26)
The scenes you have saved in Highlight Playback during playback of the USB HDD are saved in
the SD card.
Deleting scenes and still pictures on the USB HDD may take time.
You cannot set the following items during playback of (USB HDD).
