DTAD setup
CALL SCREENING
Choose whether incoming messages can be heard
over the speaker when they are being recorded.
If you turn call screening on, you will hear the
incoming private message on your telephone
when a call comes in.
1. Press [ENTER].
2. Press [ ] or [ ] until you see DTAD SETUP. Press
[ENTER].
3. Press [ ] or [ ] until you see CALL SCREENING.
4. Press [ ] or [ ] to choose ON or OFF.
5. To move to the next feature, press [ ].

To exit setup, press and hold [ENTER].
NOTE: If the Do Not Disturb (DND) feature is
active (page 15), the call screening feature will be
disabled automatically.
DTAD INTERCEPT
Choose whether private incoming messages can
be intercepted by other phones. Someone at the
1080 phone which is recording the message can
always intercept the call. If DTAD intercept is on
when a caller leaves a message, someone on another
system telephone sharing the same line can answer
the call by pressing the corresponding line key.
1. Press [ENTER].
2. Press [ ] or [ ] until you see DTAD SETUP. Press
[ENTER].
3. Press [ ] or [ ] until you see DTAD INTERCEPT.
4. Press [ ] or [ ] to choose ON or OFF.
5. To move to MAIN MENU, press [ ].
