App Mode
When a mobile device is wired to this prod-
uct, you can view the screen image currently
displayed on the mobile device (iPhone with
Lightning connector, Android device) or the
screen image of the application currently
used (iPhone with 30-pin connector) is dis-
played with this product’s display.
When you touch this product’s display in
the App Mode, “Don’t Touch” mark
appears on the upper right corner of the
screen.
App Mode for iPhone with Lightning
connector and Android device
Both the Bluetooth wireless technology and
the compatible applications are not required
in the App Mode. You can view any screen
image of the wired device with this product’s
display (mirroring function).
Before using the App Mode for iPhone
with Lightning connector, make sure that
the “App launch assist” is set to “Off”.

1 Unlock your device and then connect
your device to this product.
Ü For details, refer to Connecting and dis-
connecting mobile devices on page 10.
The [Apps] icon on the Home screen will be
active.
2 Press the Home button to display the
Home screen.
3 Tap [Apps] on the Home screen.
The current screen image of the connected
device appears on the display.
4 Launch an application to be used on
iPhone side or Android device side.
If you lock the connected device in the
App Mode, the mirroring function turns
off and the Home screen appears on this
product’s display.
App Mode for iPhone with 30-pin
connector
In the App Mode, you can view the screen
image of the App Mode compatible applica-
tions in the connected iPhone with this prod-
uct’s display.
Before using the App Mode, make sure
that the “App launch assist” is set to
Off”.
