Customizing the system
settings
1 Press the Home button to display the
Home screen.
2 Flick the scroll area on the Home
screen.

3 Tap [Settings] on the Home screen.
The setting menu screen appears.
4 Tap .
The “System” screen appears.
5 Tap the item that you want to change
the settings for.
6 After changing the settings, tap to
return the Home screen.
Setting the type of the mobile de-
vice to be connected
Before connecting your device, set the type of
the device.
App Connection Settings” can be set
only when the source is set to “OFF” with-
out any mobile device connection.
1 Display the “System” screen.

2 Tap [App Connection Settings].
Tapping [App Connection Settings] changes
the settings as follows:
• iPhone (Digital AV) (default):
When an iPhone with Lightning connec-
tor will be connected, select “iPhone
(Digital AV)”.
• Others:
When an iPhone with 30-pin connector,
Android device or MirrorLink device will
be connected, select “Others”.
Setting the rear output
This product’s rear output (rear speaker leads
output) can be used for a full-range speaker
(Full) or subwoofer (Subwoofer) connection.
If you switch the rear output setting to
Subwoofer”, you can connect a rear speaker
lead directly to a subwoofer without using an
auxiliary amp.
Initially, the product is set for a rear full-range
speaker connection (Full).
Rear Speaker” can be set only when the
source is set to “OFF”.
1 Display the “System” screen.
Ü For details, refer to Customizing the
system settings on page 63.
2 Tap [Rear Speaker].
Tapping [Rear Speaker] changes the settings
as follows:
• Full (default):
When no subwoofer is connected to the
rear output, select “Full”.
• Subwoofer:
When a subwoofer is connected to the
rear output, select “Subwoofer”.
Even if you change this setting, there will
be no output unless you turn the subwoofer
output on.
Ü For details, refer to Using the subwoofer
output on page 61.
If you change this setting, subwoofer
output in the audio menu will return to the
factory settings.
