Using the functions
Selecting a track from the list
You can play a track on the playlist screen by
tapping it.
1 Tap the key to display playlist
screen.

2 Tap a track to be played.
Repeating playback
There are two repeat play types for playback.

Each tap of changes the setting as follows:
• (Disc) (Default): Repeats the current
disc.
• (Track): Repeats just the current
track.
If you perform track search, fast forward or
fast reverse, media change in the Track re-
peat mode, the repeat play range automati-
cally changes to the Disc repeat.
Random play
This function shuffles tracks and plays them
in random order.

Each tap of changes the setting as fol-
lows:
• (Off) (Default): Does not play tracks
in random order.
• (On): Plays all tracks in the current
disc in random order.
If you turn the random play on in the Track
repeat mode, the repeat play range auto-
matically changes to the Disc repeat.
Selecting the target data to be
played
You can select the target data to be played
when audio data (normal music CD) and
WMA, MP3 or AAC data (ROM) are mixed in a
disc.

2 Tap the target data to be played.
• CD-DA: Sets audio data for the target.
• Music: Sets WMA, MP3 or AAC data for
the target.
Setting the sound retriever function
The sound retriever function is effective to
compressed audio data. It automatically en-
hances compressed audio and restores rich
sound.

Each tap of changes the setting as follows.
• Off: Deactivates the sound retriever
function.
• Mode 1 (Default): Activates the sound
retriever function. Select for a lowly com-
pressed sound data.
• Mode 2: Activates the sound retriever
function. Select for a highly compressed
sound data.
