You can play a disc that contains compressed
audio files (MP3, WMA, AAC files).
Starting procedure
1 Insert a disc to be played.
Ü For details, refer to Inserting and ejecting a
disc on page 9.
2 Press the Home button to display the
Home screen.
Ü For details, refer to Home screen on page
14.
3 Tap [Disc] on the Home screen.
The playback automatically starts.
4 Use the touch panel keys on the screen
to control the disc.

Current file information
• : Song title
Shows the title of the current song
(when available).
• : Artist name
Shows the artist name currently playing
(when available).
• : Album title
Shows the title of the album for the song
(when available).
• : Genre indicator
Shows the genre of the current song
(when available).
• :Folder name
Shows the folder name of the current
song (when available).
• :File name
Shows the file name of the current song
(when available).
2 Folder/File number
Shows the folder number and the file num-
ber.
3 Current time
4 Play time
Shows the elapsed time, remaining time
and time bar of the current song.
5 Pause indicator
Appears the pause indicator while pausing
playback.

Switches the display between the song
details (song title, artist name, album title
and genre) and the directory structure
(folder name and file name).
2 Displays the folder list screen that can be
used to search for files in a inserted disc.

the list on page 43.
3 Performs fast reverse or fast forward by
dragging the playback point.
4 Tapping the key skips to the start of the
next file. Tapping the key once skips to
the start of the current file. Tapping the
key twice quickly will skip to the previous
file. Touching and holding the key or
the key performs fast reverse or fast
forward.
