Customizing preferences
• Level 8 (default):
Playback of the entire disc is enabled.
• Level 7 to Level 2:
Playback of discs for children and non-
adult oriented discs is enabled.
• Level 1:
Only playback of discs for children is en-
abled.
Setting the auto play
When a disc with a disc menu is inserted, this
unit will cancel the disc menu automatically
and start playback from the first chapter of the
first title.
This function is available on DVD-Video.
Some DVDs may not operate properly. If
this function is not fully operable, turn this
function off and start playback.
1 Display the “Video Setup” screen.
Ü For details, refer to Customizing the video
setup settings on page 57.
2 Tap [DVD Auto Play].
Tapping [DVD Auto Play] changes the set-
tings as follows:
• Off (default):
Deactivates the auto play function.
• On:
Activates the auto play function.
Customizing the audio
settings
The audio settings cannot be set when
the source is set to “OFF”.
1 Press the Home button to display the
Home screen.
2 Flick the scroll area on the Home
screen.

3 Tap [Settings] on the Home screen.
The setting menu screen appears.
4 Tap .
The “Audio” screen appears.
5 Tap the item that you want to change
the settings for.
6 After changing the settings, tap to
return the Home screen.
Using fader/balance adjustment
You can select a fader/balance setting that
provides an ideal listening environment in all
occupied seats.
1 Display the “Audio” screen.

settings on page 59.
2 Tap [Fader/Balance].
When “Rear Speaker” in the “System” set-
tings is set to “Subwoofer”, “Balance” will be
displayed instead of “Fader/Balance” and
front/rear speaker balance cannot be adjust-
ed.
